I am running to make AB Stronger!
We need to be strong in terms of protecting our tree canopy in order to strengthen our resiliency and property values. We need to support our only public school, Atlantic Beach Elementary, from closure by making the building itself a historical building with the accompanying protections and funding for repairs. We also need more transparent and data-driven local government, in order to maximize efficiency and minimize staff turnover. Finally we need to support our police and fire departments, and strengthen our public safety.
We need to protect our larger, older trees along with the entire tree canopy in order to strengthen our resilience to storms, preserve our property values and ensure all the benefits of a healthy tree canopy, including shade, habitat for wildlife, erosion protection, healthy air, cooler temperature, and water absorption.
